Welcome to the BodyFit blog!
Welcome to our new BodyFit blog. We want to tell you a little bit about what you can expect to see. If you become a regular reader of the blog you will learn about BodyFit’s co-owners, Lizz Hill and Tracey Carlton, in more detail. For instance, did you know Lizz couldn’t believe how difficult her first barre class was? If you thought you were the only one overwhelmed by your first experience, it turns out you aren’t alone. Lizz went from that beginning stage to completing her certification in the Pure Barre method. We will talk more about that and about Tracey’s experiences in the next weeks of November. Bookmark this page and come back often to see what we have to share.
Of course we’ll talk about fitbarre, and hopefully provide new insight for those familiar with this approach. And if you are unfamiliar? Well, we hope to fill your curiosity and, with a bit of luck, get you into the studio as well. Everyone is welcome at BodyFit. Lizz prides herself on the studio’s ability to offer each person a focused class where your needs are met. After all, this isn’t a typical gym. You aren’t one more person floating in a sea of iPod robots; overdeveloped shoulder muscles; and outdated, clunky weight machines. Each class offers you an intimate experience that’s friendly, not intimidating—motivating, not boring.
We look forward to introducing BodyFit and its instructors. We’ll be sharing news, following members’ personal success stories, offering tips and advice, and more. If there is anything you would like to know more about, let us know. Remember BodyFit is here for you. We want to help you be as healthy and as happy as you can. We are excited to use this as a place where we can communicate with community members, class participants and (hopefully) future class participants, fitness enthusiasts, those who can’t wait for our newest apparel, and other friendly people who don’t really know what the BodyFit studio is or what it can offer. You will likely learn much more than you expected!
If you have health, you probably will be happy, and if you have health and happiness, you have all the wealth you need, even if it is not all you want. ~Elbert Hubbard, American writer and philosopher
